For the Palm Beach House, featured in Galerie Magazine, GRADE created an art-forward, family-friendly home brimming with collectible design and interiors that capture an airy, coastal contemporary vibe. An art collection and a comfortable home were imperative; thus, this 5,100 SF vacation home was designed to support the functional needs of an ever-growing family—with children and grandchildren—as well as lifestyle and aesthetic goals. Sophisticated outdoor living areas were redesigned to accommodate hosting and entertaining the whole family, and a bright environment inside presents new art acquisitions, furniture, and decoration. Custom millwork provides elegant storage for stashing away children’s toys, a new enclosed office in the original formal living room offers a convertible work from home / lounge area, and a new wine bar activates the home’s cross-axis—now a gallery. Walls were refreshed with Venetian plaster throughout, offering a pristine setting for works of art. Stylish seating anchors spaces with a calm but sophisticated base while the more playful, organic pieces in unique materials and finishes elevate interest. Light, beach-inspired neutrals mix with blue, orange, and coral tones to tap into the coastal context of Palm Beach.
